Volcanos in Cappataggle

Last week junior and senior infants made volcanos from modelling clay.We had lots of fun designing and painting the volcanos. We just hope that they will not erupt! We will have pictures of our work next week.

This week senior and junior infants are busy caring for the environment. All the children received plastic gloves and they picked up all the rubbish around the school. We can now say that St.Michael's N.S. is a litter free zone.

Mother's day surprise

For our art class we painted milk cartons and decided to use them as planting boxes. The children filled the cartons with compost and planted two bulbs in each carton. Our bulbs have been watered daily and we have some beautiful flowers growing in the classroom. The children will bring their flowers home on Friday as a Mother's Day surprise.

Trip to the Aquarium

Senior infants, first, second, third and fourth classes attended the Atlantaquaria in Galway
